Privacy policy

Sims 4 Backup is a personal, non-commercial configuration used by one individual to back up Sims 4 mods, saves, and related game files. It does not provide accounts or services to the public.

Google user data

The application requests Google Drive access so rclone can see, create, update, and delete the owner’s Sims 4 backup files in Google Drive. Access is used only to perform backups requested by the owner.

How data is used and stored

Files move directly between the owner’s computer and the owner’s Google Drive account. This website does not receive, store, log, sell, share, or analyze Google user data. OAuth credentials are stored locally on the owner’s computer and are not published on this website.

Data sharing

Google user data is not transferred to advertising platforms, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. rclone and Google process data only as needed to provide the requested connection and storage functions.

Retention and deletion

The owner controls all backup files and can delete them from Google Drive at any time. Access can be revoked from the Google Account connections page, and the local rclone authorization can be removed from the computer.

Security

Access is protected through Google OAuth. No Google password is collected by this site. The owner is responsible for securing the computer, Google account, and locally stored rclone configuration.
